Outside the Work

A little more of the story.

A lot of what I’ve built began with something I was already doing because I loved it. Beer started with friends, homebrewing, bottle shares, trading, and volunteering at startup breweries before growing into one of the defining aspects of my career. Personal finance classes eventually inspired a children’s book series, while pairing notes and sensory workshops developed into Pairing with Pros and Sensory Sensei. I tend to follow the things that genuinely inspire me, keep building as the idea evolves, and often find that those passion projects become some of the work I’m proudest of.

Away from work, I’m usually moving. I enjoy wakeboarding, working out, skating with my kids, family time, and taking on new challenges like half marathons, triathlons, and Tough Mudders. I also travel whenever possible, often visiting breweries, wineries, distilleries, and memorable restaurants along the way. The best trips always include time with family and friends. Below is some of the moments that keep me smiling.
